Share market update: Most active stocks in today’s market in terms of volume
NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 24.38 crore), IRFC(numbers of share traded: 8.68 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 8.24 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.59 crore), Sarveshwar Foods(numbers of share traded: 5.71 crore), IRB Infra Dev.(numbers of share traded: 5.44 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 4.16 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 3.91 crore), Jain Irrigation(numbers of share traded: 3.88 crore) and Greaves Cotton(numbers of share traded: 3.29 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 31.75 points up at 24641.8, while BSE Sensex ended 16.09 points at 81526.14.
On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.99 per cent), State Bank of India(down 0.69 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.56 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
