Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value
NEW DELHI: Adani Power(Rs. 2148.81 crore), BSE(Rs. 2081.42 crore), Kalyan Jewellers Ind(Rs. 1637.88 crore), Zomato(Rs. 1593.19 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 1389.46 crore), One Mobikwik Systems(Rs. 1380.13 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 1202.74 crore), RIL(Rs. 1197.46 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1174.06 crore) and HDFC Bank(Rs. 1155.88 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 37.16 points up at 23213.2, while BSE Sensex 224.45 points to 76724.08.
In the Nifty index, Trent Ltd.(up 3.72 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 3.53 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.90 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 2.23 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.76 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.93 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.45 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.37 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent) and Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.01 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
