Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today’s trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Ebixcash World Money(20.00%), Karda Const(20.00%), VJTF Eduservice(19.99%), United Drilling(19.99%), Subros(19.99%), M K Proteins(19.88%), NEL Holdings(19.87%), Sterlite Tech(19.26%), Bhaskar Agro(18.33%) and KDDL Ltd(17.81%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 677.55 points up at 81796.15, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 227.91 points up at 24946.5.

In the Nifty50 index, 46 stocks closed in the green, while 4 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Subros, Bhaskar Agro, OneSource Specialty, Kwality Pharmaceutic and GRM Overseas hit their fresh 52-week high, while Jeevan Scientific, Inter Globe Fin, Pankaj Piyush, Krishna Vent and Sadhana Nitro touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
