Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE
NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Innovative Tech(up 19.98%), Viji Finance(up 19.80%), Sarthak Ind(up 16.99%) and Winsome Textile(up 15.97%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 251.8 points down at 82007.44, while the 50-share index, NSE was 70.71 points down at 25040.75.
In the Nifty50 index, 19 stocks traded in the green, while 31 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Sarthak Ind, Garuda Construction, Cupid Ltd, Autoriders Intnl and Joy Realty hit their fresh 52-week high, while Enbee Trade Fin, Vantage Knowledge, Kansal Fibres, Zodiac Ventures and Aplab(PP)touched their new 52-week low during the session.
