TCS shares in focus as board to review Q2 results, second interim dividend on October 9


Shares of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will be in focus as the company informed the exchanges that the meeting of its Board of Directors is scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 9, to approve the company’s audited financial results for the second quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025, along with consideration of a second interim dividend for shareholders.

“We hereby inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Tata Consultancy Services Limited is scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, inter alia to: i. approve and take on record the audited standalone financial results of the Company under Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) for the quarter and six-month period ending September 30, 2025; ii. approve and take on record the audited consolidated financial results of the Company and its subsidiaries under Ind AS for the quarter and six-month period ending September 30, 2025; and iii. consider declaration of second interim dividend to the equity shareholders,” the company said in its regulatory filing.


The Board will also review and approve the financial statements of its subsidiaries for the same period.

Another key agenda item is the consideration of a second interim dividend. If approved, the dividend will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the company’s register of members or as beneficial owners in depository records as of Wednesday, October 15, which has been set as the record date.


Over the last 12 months, the IT giant has paid a total equity dividend of Rs 127 per share. Based on the market price of Rs 3,073.80, the dividend yield stands at 4.13%, according to Trendlyne data.
