Stats about Prop Firm & Small Account Mode + Sets

The new setup was released two weeks ago and has quickly become a favorite among users.

However, some traders accustomed to higher daily trade counts may have noticed a significant reduction in trading activity under the new mode. That’s by design – and for safety reasons.

To provide better insight, I’ve prepared a comparison of the new safety-focused modes versus the standard configurations, based on detailed statistics.

🔍 Understanding the Modes

Before we look at the numbers, here’s a brief overview of the available trading modes:

🟢 Regular Mode

In Regular Mode, all strategy signals are executed. If the calculated lot size is smaller than the broker’s minimum lot size, it will be automatically raised to that minimum.

⚠️ Warning: This can lead to massive implied risk. For example, if the EA calculates 0.000001 lots but the broker minimum is 0.01, you’re trading at 10,000× the intended exposure!

🔒 Recommended only for accounts with $10,000 or more!

🟡 Small Account Mode

This mode activates only strategies that meet the minimum broker lot size based on your selected risk %.

It also adds a dynamic risk gate: new strategies will only be opened if the projected maximum loss (current + pending strategies) stays within your account’s defined limit.

This mode significantly reduces exposure while maintaining diversification.

🔵 Prop Firm Mode

This behaves similarly to Small Account Mode, but includes Prop Firm Randomization – a feature that adds variability to entry points, reducing correlation across trades.

🧪 Summary: Small Accounts Can Now Trade Safely

With Small Account Mode, you can now use Burning Grid starting from $500 – with no implied risk.

Of course, not all strategies can be utilized at that size, but that’s the point: you trade what your account can safely support, with a long-term sustainability mindset.

📊 Strategy Tester Comparison

To help you understand how each mode performs, I conducted a test from January 1 to June 30, 2025, comparing key metrics across different setups.

💵 $500 Account

💵 $1,000 Account

  • Trades: 231

  • Strategies Run: 24

  • Symbols Traded: 15

💵 $2,000 Account

💵 $3,000 Account

💵 $5,000 Account

  • Trades: 1,676

  • Strategies Run: 88

  • Symbols Traded: 28

For comparison, here are the trade statistics ofthe Low, Medium and High Risk Signals:

🔹 Low Risk Signal

  • Trades: 3,179

  • Strategies Run: 69

  • Symbols: 34

🔸 Medium Risk Signal

  • Trades: 5,901

  • Strategies Run: 137

  • Symbols: 34

🔺 High Risk Signal

  • Trades: 8,098

  • Strategies Run: 205

  • Symbols: 34

📈 Mode Performance Summary Table

Wenn man das alles in eine Tabelle zusammenfasst ergibt sich folgendes Bild:

Mode Trades  Trades per Month  Strategies run  traded Symbols  Max DD
    $500     250       41    41   20   13.33%
 $1,000     231       39    24   15    6.11%
 $2,000     564       94    51   21    6.59%
 $3,000  1,122     187    75   26    8.99%
 $5,000  1,676     279    88   28    6.60%
 Low Risk Signal  3,179     530    69   34    7.12%
 Medium Risk Signal  5,901     984   137   34   17.95%
 High Risk Signal  8,098  1,350   205   34   24.50%

✅ Key Takeaways

Small account modes naturally yield fewer trades compared to their high-cap counterparts — but that doesn’t mean they’re inactive.

They simply trade within the safe boundaries of what the account can afford, avoiding dangerous leverage or unintentional risk exposure.

🔄 Tip: Always move up!

Once you cross the threshold for a higher setup level (e.g. from $500 → $1,000), switch immediately to the corresponding setfile and stop using the lower one. This ensures optimal trade coverage.

📌 Important note:

Even though the $500 account had 41 trades/month, this does not equal two trades per day. Trades can cluster around certain periods, followed by several days without any trades — that’s normal and by design.

🧠 Final Thoughts

I hope this post gives you a better understanding of how each mode behaves and scales over time. Whether you’re just starting with $500 or managing a funded $10,000+ account, Burning Grid adjusts accordingly — and trades responsibly.
