QUANT SPIKES EA — USER GUIDE & SETUP
I. REQUIREMENTS
Before running Quant Spikes EA, make sure you have the following:

⚠️ This EA requires a VPS. Running it on a home PC that sleeps or restarts will cause missed trades. A VPS keeps the EA alive 24/7.
II. INSTALLATION
- Download QuantSpikes.ex5 from your MQL5 purchase
- Open MetaTrader 5
- Click File → Open Data Folder
- Navigate to MQL5 → Experts
- Paste QuantSpikes.ex5 into the folder
- Restart MT5 or press F5 in the Navigator panel
- Drag Quant Spikes onto the Boom 600 Index chart
- Enable “Allow Algo Trading” in EA settings
- Click OK
III. BACKTESTING SETUP
Use these exact settings in the Strategy Tester (matching your screenshot):

✅ Always use “Every tick based on real ticks” for the most accurate backtest results on Deriv synthetic indices.

V. LIVE TRADING TIPS
- ✅ Run on a VPS at all times
- ✅ Start with a small lot size (0.01) and increase gradually
- ✅ Use the recommended backtest period to understand EA behaviour before going live
- ✅ Do not interfere with open trades — let the EA manage them
- ❌ Do not run on symbols other than Boom 600 Index without testing first
- ❌ Do not expect a trade every hour — the EA is patient by design
VI. WHAT TO EXPECT
Quant Spikes is not a scalper and is not designed for fast money. It waits for the exact conditions to align before entering. You may see periods with no trades — this is normal and by design. The goal is quality over quantity.
