Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Monday’s session
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 572.07 points down at 80891.02 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Kellton Tech(down 17.41 per cent), Ekennis Software Service(down 16.10 per cent), HP Cotton Text(down 11.91 per cent), 20 Microns(down 10.19 per cent) and TV Today Network(down 10.06 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 16 stocks closed in the green, while 34 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 156.1 points down at 24680.9.
On the BSE, Trans Freight, JITF Infralogistics, Pankaj Piyush, Kkrrafton Developers and Rapid Invst hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Teesta Agro Industries Ltd., Panth Infinity, Vimta Labs, Times Guaranty and Sudarshan Chemical touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
