Apis, Madison and ROC Capital sell Star Health shares worth Rs 2,210 core


Mumbai: Apis Partners, Madison Capital and ROC Capital have sold a total of 41.3 million shares in the Star Health and Allied Insurance Company in a block deal on NSE on Thursday. These investors offloaded shares worth ₹2,210.5 crore at ₹535 apiece.

Apis Partners held a 2.61% stake via Apis Growth 6, Madison Capital via Mio Star held 2.21% and Mio IV Star held 2.39%, and ROC Capital owned 1.01%, as of March 2024.

Mio IV Star, ROC Capital and Apis Partners liquidated their entire stakes in the deal. ICICI Prudential Life, HDFC MF, East Bridge Capital, and Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore PTE were among the buyers of these shares. Shares of Star Health closed at ₹549.40 on Thursday, after an advance of 1.87%.
