Altria Dividend Increase
On 21 August, Altria (MO) increased its dividend by 3.92%, from $1.02 to $1.06 per share.
The dividend is payable on 10 October to shareholders of record on 15
September.
MO’s forward yield is 6.27% at $67.67 per share.
I own 430 MO shares at an average cost of $49.64 per share. MO’s contribution
to
DivGro‘s projected annual dividend income will increase by $68.80 to
$1823.20.
My yield on cost is now 8.54%.
Since I opened my position in January 2014, the stock has generated a total return of 65%, including $6,148.92
in dividend income. That’s a splendid annualized rate of return of
10.9%!
