Bitfinex Enhances Trading Experience with Version 1.118 Update

Bitfinex, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the release of Version 1.118 of their trading platform, introducing a series of updates aimed at enhancing user experience and performance. According to blog.bitfinex.com, this update focuses on both user interface (UI) improvements and bug fixes.

Improvements in Version 1.118

The latest version brings several key improvements to the trading platform. Notably, the trading header drop-down menu has been updated to be navigable using the Enter or Space keys, enhancing accessibility for users. The TradingView chart object tree modal options have also been refined for better selection capabilities.

Additionally, the update includes enhancements to the positions widget, where button outline indicators are now more prominent when focused by keys. The balances elements have been adjusted to outline in the focus-visible state, and the links’ outline in the summary widget has been improved for clarity.

Other notable changes include an updated disclaimer message tailored for Argentinian customers and the addition of the XAUT0 icon in the movements section. Furthermore, Polygon (Matic) has been removed from the staking page, and text wrapping in certain languages for the positions modal trading volume units has been improved.

Addressing Bug Fixes

Version 1.118 also addresses several bug fixes to improve platform stability. A known issue with page jumps during the Virtual Tour has been resolved, ensuring smoother scrolling for users. The custom grid panels now collapse accurately, and the liquidations widget displays additional data without requiring scrolling.

Furthermore, the multi-select checkbox in the orders widget now updates correctly after all rows are unselected. The depth chart has been fixed to display layout buttons on small screens, and the price scale limit for volume-based ticks has been adjusted. The ‘Learn more’ info icon in the tickers widget now includes a focus indicator, and tooltips visibility in the amount traded modal of the order history widget has been improved.

These updates reflect Bitfinex’s ongoing commitment to providing a seamless and efficient trading experience for its users. By addressing both UI improvements and bug fixes, Bitfinex aims to enhance the overall functionality and user satisfaction of its platform.
