Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.23% By Investing.com



Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the lost 0.23%.

The best performers of the session on the were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 4.59% or 8.70 points to trade at 198.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted AS (CSE:) added 2.46% or 9.90 points to end at 411.70 and Demant A/S (CSE:) was up 1.95% or 6.40 points to 335.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which fell 0.98% or 9.10 points to trade at 919.70 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:) declined 0.28% or 0.40 points to end at 144.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:) was down 0.13% or 1.50 points to 1,138.50.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 65 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.15% or 0.89 to $78.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.14% or 0.93 to hit $82.77 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.97% or 22.60 to trade at $2,357.10 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 104.51.
