Mondelez Dividend Increase
On 1 August, Mondelez (MDLZ) increased its quarterly dividend by 10.59%, from 42.5¢ to 47¢ per share.
The dividend will be paid on 14 October to shareholders of record on 30 September. The ex-dividend date is 30 September.
MDLZ’s contribution to DivGro’s projected annual dividend income will increase by $36 to $376.
I own 200 shares of MDLZ at an average cost basis of $61.03 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 3.08%. (MDLZ’s forward yield is 2.70% at $69.72 per share).
Since I opened my MDLZ position in August 2021, the stock has produced total returns of 22%, including $893 in dividend income.
