Central Banks: While the coming week has a limited number of central banks reviewing their policy stances including those in Peru, India, South Korea and New Zealand, a slew of central bankers have speaking engagements. This includes Kugler, Barkin, Goolsbee, Williams, Logan, Jefferson, Bowman, Bostic, Musalem, Cook and Collins from the Federal Reserve and also Lane and Schnaebel from the European Central Bank, Hauser and Kent from the Reserve Bank of Australia, Hunter and Hauser from the Reserve Bank of Australia, Shakitanka from the Reserve Bank of India, and Orr from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Minutes from past policy meetings will be published by the Fed, ECB, and Reserve Bank of Australia.

Special Events: Australia going on daylight savings time and Tunisian presidential election on Sunday. Eurogroup meeting on Tuesday. World Economic Outlook to be published Wednesday.

Scheduled U.S. Statistical Releases: Consumer prices, producer prices, trade balance, RCM/TIPP optimism index, NFIB index of small business sentiment, and U. Michigan/Reuters consumer confidence index. Weekly chain store sales, jobless insurance claims, energy inventories, & mortgage applications.

Japanese Data: PPI, machine tool orders, reserves, economy watchers index, money and bank lending growth, household spending, and indices of leading and coincident economic indicators.

Other Asia: Malaysian and Indian industrial production. Chinese reserves and growth in money and bank lending. South Korean current account and Filipino trade balance. Malaysian unemployment and Indonesian retail sales.

Euroland Releases: Retail sales and investor sentiment.

Members of the Euro Area: German, Lithuanian, Estonian, Czech, Irish, Latvian, and Portuguese consumer prices. Austrian wholesale prices and Lithuanian PPI. German, Italian, Austrian, Irish and Finnish industrial production. German and French current accounts and trade balances. German retail sales and industrial orders. Dutch trade balance and Spain’s index of leading economic indicators.

U.K. and Switzerland: British GDP, industrial production, construction output, trade balance, same-store sales, RICS and Halifax house price indices, and the index of leading economic indicators. Swiss consumer confidence.

Eastern Europe: Czech, Romanian and Hungarian consumer prices. Hungarian, Romanian, and Czech retail sales. Czech industrial production and trade balance.

Nordic Europe: Danish and Norwegian industrial production and CPI. Danish current account, unemployment and trade balance. Norwegian PPI.

Australia and New Zealand Data: Australian building permits, business conditions, business confidence and consumer sentiment. New Zealand’s manufacturing purchasing managers index.

Canada, Brazil and Mexico: Canadian trade balance and labor market statistics. Mexican and Brazilian consumer prices.  Brazilian retail sales and Mexican industrial production.
