XMET – BetaShares Energy Transition Metals ETF

From the blurb : Energy Transition Materials are metals and raw materials that are essential to the transition to a less carbon intensive economy. These Materials are critical for the energy transition from fossil fuels to cleaner energy sources and technologies, and for the purpose of this Index include copper, lithium, nickel, cobalt, graphite, manganese, rare earths and silver. It is perceived there is growth in a range of disruptive products and processes such as renewable energy generation, battery storage solutions, and electric vehicles… .

Interesting play. A total of 36 companies with the last dozen each less than 1%. Management fees of 0.69%pa, which are a bit high. At present, as it is less than 2 weeks on the ASX, only $3million has flowed in. It will have to grow to be viable.
