Middle East War – USA/Israel vs Iran War. Stock and Economic Comment
It does look as if the present conflict will spread more widely with Iranian attacks on many Middle Eastern countries associated with the USA and Israel in their defence against the US and Israel’s attempt to change the regime. There have been a number of interesting moves in the American exchanges pre-open trading.
There are so many threads on the political, religious and social aspects of the Iran – Israel/USA conflict it would be good if the discussion could be confined to Stocks and the Economic effects the conflict has on materials and stocks here in Australia and worldwide. - The SP 500 is down as are most indices pre-open
- Tech stocks are down
- Amazon data centres in UAE and Bahrein attacked by drones
- Korea and other Asian markets closing down after ASX dramatically down
- XAO down 1.41% and XJO down 1.34%
- Australian interest rates tipped to go much higher
