The BETASHARES CLIMATE CHANGE INNOVATION ETF (ERTH) was listed on the ASX in March 2021. Initial trades were around $12 and the most recent close at $15.24 is an all-time high.
The BetaShares ETF holds 100 stocks that tend to be larger and across more sectors than the VanEck Global Clean Energy ETF (CLNE).
In early November, the BetaShares Climate Change Innovators ETF traded on a forward price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 37 times, showing just how heated company valuations in the global renewable energy sector have become over the past few years.
